To ensure the reward distribution process remains impartial, secure, and transparent, we have partnered with Proof of Play to implement their Verified RNG (vRNG) technology.

• Reward Delivery: Once winners are determined, Playfull manages the distribution of Snowflake rewards, which can be redeemed for digital and physical assets through the Playfull Shop or Avalanche ecosystem games.

Our raffle winner selection system employs a hybrid onchain and off-chain approach, incorporating participants’ Snowflake holdings for added fairness. A custom vRNG smart contract generates secure, unpredictable random numbers onchain. Off-chain, we compile a list of eligible participants with their Snowflake totals, calculate a cumulative sum, and use the vRNG-generated random number to establish a target value (random number % total snowflakes). The first participant whose cumulative Snowflake sum exceeds this target is selected as the winner. This method balances proportional chances based on Snowflake holdings while maintaining verifiability through the on-chain vRNG.

This integration strengthens the giveaway’s fairness and aligns with Playfull’s mission to deliver a rewarding and engaging experience for gamers.
